I just recently uninstalled a few mods from skyrim, or so i thought. Where can I locate the mod files on my computer? Sorry i'm not the techy type. And if i can't come to a solution, how do i uninstall and reinstall the game completely?

Plz don't flame me >_<

Ok. You need to brief me with your description buddy. Which version of Skyrim do you have? Steam? Or crack version of Skyrim? And what mod files? The ones you've installed into skyrim? Are you Using NMM (Nexus mod Manager) or you have installed the mods Manually?

If you use NMM

===============

Simply double click any checked Mods to uninstall them, the same way you installed them, that's what's so great about NMM, no need to mess with files yourself

If you did NOT use NMM

===================

THIS IS FOR WINODWS ONLY: Re-download the mod. Copy the files as if you we're installing it. Now, once that's done, press CTRL+Z, which will prompt the "Undo" command. It'll ask if you want to delete these files, Yes, you do. Repeat this process for all your mods.

Both versions of this work wether your using a cracked or legal copy, no matter what version. If you want to uninstall ALL your mods and start clean again, there's a way to do that too, but I can't remember the original folder structure. Try and Google "skyrim data orginal" or something along those lines. Sorry, but good luck man! This happened to me before, which is why I started using NMM

Oh and i think it might of been the fact that i **accidentally* deleted some of skyrim's files...=D

*edit starts blabbering about not having files when i start the game such as new game or load game..derp ;(

Might be the main reason why Skyrim is crashing :P

Just search the file name you deleted on google :P and then just put it back where you deleted it.

If the file is not found in google, I might recommned you to reinstall skyrim from steam :)

Haha it's simple. Rightclick [On skyrim where you launch via steam] --> Delete local content --> Game is now gone. --> Click on Play game --> Steam begins downloading. :laugh:

But before you do that, if you have mods installed in your Data folder, I recommend backing up Meshes,Texture and the ESP files. Unless you are using NMM (Nexus Mod Manager) which is easy reinstalling the mods :]
