Very interesting thing that I discovered. Bug or feature?

Ok so I was playing skryim and I tought of this funny thing that I should do. Being werewolf, vampire lord guy. Now if you wish to try this yourself follow these steps. This REQUIRES Dawnguard DLC!

 

1.Make backup of all you savegames. Goto My Documents/My games/Skyrim and copy SAVES folder.

2.When you play dawnguard quest you should choose dawnguard side( I havent tested for vampire side)

3. When you have completed main dawnguard quest, better go anywhere into wild not towns.

4. Open up console with ~ key which is above TAB.

5. Type following cheat - PSB no caps, this cheat will grant you every spell, every shout ingame. Warning! Most shouts wont work and crash your game, so be careful. Most spells work, some doesnt but mostly all work.

6. Once you entered PSB cheat , open up MAGIC inventory and go into POWERS section.

7. You should see tons of powers, now find these 3 powers - RING OF HIRCINE , Vampire Lord , Revert form( maybe its called human)

8. If you already are werewolf, go into active effects tab and check if you have RESIST DISEASES.

9. Go back to powers and turn into werewolf, now you should have resist all diseases in effects tab.

10. Press T or whatever is your WAIT button and wait for 1 hour. You will turn back into human.

11. Go back to your powers tab and choose , VAMPIRE LORD , turn into him play around for 5 minutes and press Q or your favorites menu key. Choose REVERT FORM and you will turn back into human.

12. Zoom onto your characters eyes and see if theyre yellow or normal. If theyre normal everything should be fine.

13. Now you can turn into werewolf or vampire anytime you wish, just dont try it in towns because everyone will attack you.

 

Sorry if you didn't understand something and sorry for typos. This was discovered today! and this bug/feature is very funny to play with.

Dont blame me if youre having issues with savegames or other stuff. I warned you to backup all your saves. :happy:

 

Note: I havent tested this if youre doing vampire side quests, it should work but maybe not.

You asked for a comment, so thou shall have one >.> It's a cheat, neither bug nor feature; it requires console commands :P

Though.. does make me wonder as I haven't played werewolf since.. around my first or second playthrough back when skyrim came out if it wouldn't be possible to obtain the ring; join the vampires and become a VL (thus losing werewolf) and still use the ring, I .. believe I read in the patch notes it was fixed so that wasn't possible anymore. So.. yeah.. console only <.< if I remember right anyway.

Why would a small-step-tutorial on basic use of cheat commands need a video? ....

I am sorry, but this is allready known. With the console open you sit with all the power of the developers. Of course you can be both Vampire, Werewolf and whatever else you may feel like being.

That said, there were multiple threads about this earlier. Mostly right after release of Skyrim when certain people went around cheating as much as possible.
