StealthDick
I don't really know how to phrase this correctly, so I'll just explain it my way. When I make a texture for a .nif it's file path is automatically c:\program files (86x)...\textures\StealthDick\I know many people don't have NV installed in their c drive, so how do I go about making the file path universal to everyone? Prior when I set connected my texture to my .nif it didn't have a prefered drive connected to it. How do I go about doing so? Edit: by the time I'm finished with my mod I'd going to have many textures and models, should I make a BSA at some point? Deleted53139156User
You can just double click the texture path in nifskope and remove everything in front of \texturesYou don't need anything in the path after the \data should start as \textures or \meshes or \sound etc etc. I can't recall but I heard .bsa files will load the resources faster, I can't remember how true that is and never use them myself so grain of salt. Your end user won't have to deal with loose files is probably the biggest draw for if you have a lot of files. You can have multiple .bsa files too if you wish.
