gasti89
Hey everyone, a (hopefully) simple question: Is someone using Version Control for merging esps into a main esm? What I need to know is if it would be safe to: - Take a "worldspaced" heightmap esp and merge it in a custom esm, already containing some interior cells - Alternatively viceversa - Would this bring issues? gasti89
Well, looking at the CKwiki tutorial + googling another tutorial in theory it seems pretty simple. The fact is that i have to mess with .inis and folders. Plus it tells that when you're using VC you can't edit Skyrim.esm (so you can't place references) so you have to deactivate it everytime. The VC functions seem to be pretty much like the TESVnip copypaste ones (minus the fact that TESVnip corrupts stuff). I tried one time to copy some quests in another esp, but for example script references didn't get copied, along with topics. Cells also weren't copied right. That's why i asked if someone used it, so i can know if it actually merges the entire data. The tutorials say that after the "Chek-In" function, a backup esp is created in the VC folder, while "Data files" esp gets from his original size to 1kb. So in theory all the data moves to the esm. Damn, i really need a merging tool but i don't want to get my mod f***ed up the 3rd time :ohdear:
