doctorofdarkness
Hey - I assume (hope, really) that there's an incredibly easy solution to this as long as you know what you're doing. (If only I did...) Basically, I've been building up and building up a new world-space. It's big - 16 cells and counting. And suddenly and quite arbitrarily, I find to my horror that the landscape refuses to grow; when I try to scroll out to the edges of the existing worldspace, new exterior cells no longer appear, preventing me from expanding the worldspace any further in any direction. Furthermore, I can no longer move the camera from cell to cell in the render view, but have to load each one manually in the cell window. At first I thought that perhaps I might have simply put too much pressure on the editor, so I tried creating a new test worldspace - same result. Tried creating a new module and loading a worldspace in that - same result. So now my desperate thinking is that I must have accidentally pressed a button or flipped a switch to prevent exterior cells from being created... Any advice or even admonishments along the lines of 'How can you possibly not know how to do that?' would be seriously appreciated. Thanks! Never mind, solved - in case anyone runs into the same problem, 'Allow Render Window Loads' had unticked itself somehow from the 'Preferences/Render' menu.
