Pineapplerum
I've been playing for awhile. And just last night it started acting funny. It's not my computer specs. It's not the graphics I have the game set to. It's not processes running in the background. It started gradually. First the fire in the fireplaces stopped burning right, then people/animals I kill with a magic weapon would have a very strong colored fog around them long after they've died. Using a magic spell on someone made a strange fog circle that stuck to the person and slowly made it's way down to their feet and then stayed there for awhile and then eventually dimmed out. Now, I go into the Aaylid crypts and the gates take forever and a day just to open up, the trap floors that are supposed to shoot up when you step on them, take so long to go up that I can keep running across it but I won't get caught in the trap. It's more like a picture slide show that is moving so slowly, it actually stops at each frame for about a minute. Very aggravating 'cause I can't really do anything without waiting forever. By the way, my character runs around fine. I'm (my character) is at normal speed but it's just the animated objects that take long. Like I'm on fast forward and they're on slow mo or paused. But I can run around smoothly. This is what's so confusing about it. It's not like everything is slow. Just the animations.Anyone knows what this is?I have plenty of memory, RAM, I've updated my graphics card drivers, I know it's not my graphics card or a cooling issue.Any other ideas what this could be?Thanks much. xachan86
looks like the 200 hours animation bug to me. It's a very well known bug, you can use this http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5127 to fix it, or i think that Wrye Bash can also help you repair it.
