pathfinderkingmaker Pathfinder Kingmaker Mod

Hey guys, i'm new to using mods. I recently tried to utilize the Pathfinder Kingmaker: Kingdom Resolution mod. I thought i followed the correct process but i got nothing. Couple clarifying questions first. The mod tool i downloaded but didn't seem to do anything, the mod itself i downloaded and inserted into the game file after creating a mod folder which didn't exist previously. Again nothing going on. If anybody has the time or patience to suggest what i might be doing wrong that would be awesome. Also, since the game was just updated, do I have to wait for a new mod version anyway or would the previous still work? Thanks.
