bben46
NMM just works for millions of users - so just what are you doing different from everyone else? Seriously we do want to know this kind of stuff so we know what to fix. Most common cause of NMM not downloading is an overzealous firewall or antivirus. Trend Micro is notorious for not playing nice with NMM. There is an entire topic on that in the forums. be sure you are logged into windows as a administratorbe sure you have NMM running with admin privileges ( NOT the same thing as being logged in as an admin)Be sure that Windows UAC isn't blocking you ( it won't bother to tell you if it is)Make sure your firewall is not blocking youMake sure your antivirus is not blocking youHave you tried using a different browser? Are you using any download accelerator or download manager? bben46
If You are using Google Chrome AND Windows 8.1 you may have a problem with the downloading - the simple solution is to use a different browser for this - You can have more than one browser on you computer and even more than one open at one time ( I currently have 6 browsers on mine)Both Firefox and IE work fine with Win8.1 This is covered in several other posts as well. We know about the problem between Win 8.1 and Chrome - That is a problem between Microsoft and Google - And probably not something that we can fix here ( we are looking into a work around) As this is covered in MANY more recent topics, and this one is over 6 months old - I will close it to cut down on site clutter.
