PhoenixB4U
I haven't seen this one around, but it would be awesome to have...a mod that deletes the quests you don't want to do. For example, to be able to get rid of the horse armor quest if you don't want horse armor. This in turn would also let you delete the horse armor note in your inventory! Same with the initial Dark Brotherhood quest and the Blade of Woe. God I would love it!!!

Maybe you should just use this mod: Move Quest Items
Tchos
Move Quest Items is great and useful, but it would also be nice to be able to delete the quest log entries for ones you don't want cluttering it up. There is the console command to mark a quest as "completed", of course, and that might be the only real solution. There's no way to abandon a quest in such a way that it can be picked up again later if you change your mind. Also, for the Dark Brotherhood quest especially, there is the "Stop Dark Brotherhood" mod that allows you to indefinitely delay Lucien's first arrival by giving you a chance to explain a murder that you may have accidentally or unfairly committed when you go to sleep. If you claim innocence or justification, Lucien won't show up, and your record will be wiped clean. This doesn't work if he's already given you the blade, of course. Deleted269910User
There is a bug with the Stop Dark Brotherhood mod that causes the murder count etc. to always reset when you rest or wait if you claim innocence. The only way to correct it, was to remove the mod from active mods list, load, save, reset and load the game again, afterwhich you need to kill someone, again, although I'm not sure if this has been fixed in the newer version, only had the initial release in play testing.(Got the updated version, but haven't played with it yet. There is no mention in the newer version of fixing this, nor has there been a mention of this bug in the comments, I've been just too lazy.) Just wanted to give a heads up. P.S. Testing it now to see, if it still has the issue.~Elraine EDIT; New version works perfectly. No issues, this one will stick on my list.
bben46
Horse armor is a separate DLC (official Bethesda) mod. To get rid of it, just remove the check mark beside DLC Horse Armor in your file list. You also must uncheck any unofficial Horse armor mods that modify it or they will cause problems. PhoenixB4U
Hmmm...the Move Quest Items mod is interesting, though it only takes care of half the problem. I like that it doesn't necessarily alter the item permanently. I didn't know about the console command to mark a quest as "completed". That sounds like a permanent solution, but it'll probably do for most of the quests I don't want. I have a list of console commands, but I don't see that one on there. What exactly do I type? Tchos
According to the list at http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Console It's:completequest <questid> I'm not sure if the ID is necessary or if it automatically completes whatever quest is "current" or active, but in any case, the IDs of each quest can be found at that site too, at the bottom of each quest's page.
