Papajack55
Hey all, I have been spending some time in these here forums looking for an answer on why my game is crashing when I went to start a new game. I took my game off completely due to some RL issues I am going through, and now things are a bit better, I can breathe better now. I brought the game up and I have no saves so I tried to start a new game. The game CTD'd to the desktop. When I had a couple of savegames put aside, I tried one of those for kicks, but it also CTD'd. Now, ya'll gonna ask for my info and specs so here it is: ------------------System Information------------------Time of this report: 5/9/2012, 22:20:40 Machine name: BIGDADDY-PC Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.120305-1505) Language: English (Regional Setting: English)System Manufacturer: LENOVO System Model: Lenovo H420 BIOS: LENOVO BIOS Rev: 1.0 Processor: Intel® Pentium® CPU G620 @ 2.60GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.6GHz Memory: 4096MB RAMAvailable OS Memory: 3944MB RAM Page File: 2362MB used, 5524MB available Windows Dir: C:\windows DirectX Version: DirectX 11DX Setup Parameters: Not found User DPI Setting: Using System DPI System DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent) DWM DPI Scaling: Disabled DxDiag Version: 6.01.7601.17514 64bit Unicode Now I know the Intel chip is adequate for the ability to run, and yes I did put in the code for multiple cores computers. (Just to be careful. Alas, I'm not sure if I need to patch up to 1.7 for Win7, but I did anyway. ArchiveinvalidationInvalidated, whatever, I have checked through a lot. I am wondering why my scaling is disabled though, if you could take a quick look upwards. I appreciate all help,Papajack55

Papajack55
Try Intel HD graphics Bypass package by Bren712. I never thought I'd say this, but I'll be darn. It worked like a charm. It bypassed some codecs in the chipset, I don't know how, but it did and it worked. Thank you, and I'll pass this on to whomever has the same or similar problem.Again, kudos for saving my butt. ;-)
