MagisterTremere
Hello, I was hoping someone could help me with a glitch. For some reason or another, the arrow quivers in my game are being displayed on the ground between my character's legs instead of on his back. I'm not sure why this happened or what could be the cause for it. What I do know is that is aggravating as hell. I've searched on Google and found nothing relating to this problem so I was wondering if anyone here might have experienced the same problem or might be able to point me in the right direction for finding a solution. I've included a screen shot to illustrate what I'm talking about. Thanks in advance for taking the time,Gabriel
Shadowcran
I'd like to see your mod list before I can tell what could be wrong. Have you downloaded any texture packs or anything to do with stuff on your back? Shield to back thing perhaps?
MagisterTremere
I'd like to see your mod list before I can tell what could be wrong. Have you downloaded any texture packs or anything to do with stuff on your back? Shield to back thing perhaps? Hello Shadowcran... Thanks for taking the time to respond. In answer to your question, "No", I haven't installed any "shield to back" mods. My mods list is as follows: Cobl Main.esmToaster Says Share v3.esmAlternative Start.espBashed Patch, 0.espBrumaMGRestored.espChaseCameraMod.espCobl Glue.espDarkGreen Glass Armour.espDecompose.espDLCOrrery.espEnchantmentRestore.espEnchantmentRestore_Wells.espImprovedSoulGems.espjavbs.esp [blades Armor Mod]KseAliLeveling.espKvatchAftermath.espLandmarks.espMD Saddlebags v3.0.espNo Glarthir.espNoMoreAnnoyingMessages-Lite.espPriests of AkatoshReznod_Mannequin.espSalmo the Baker, Cobl.espScriptIcon_Replacer.espSno_DarkClub.espThe Lost Spires.espToaster Says Share Faction Recruitment.espVampirism.espVanityCameraSmoother.esp I hope this helps, but there is an addendum to this. This is not the first time that I've used this list of mods and prior to this, things worked as they should. Having said that, this is not the first time I've had this problem, although the last time it happened, it was only Daedric arrows that suffered the glitch. I am also using a personal mod that's specifically for my custom character, but that just adds a home, a ruin, a few new NPC's [Non quest related... Just there to liven up the place.], some armor and weapons. On another note, it seems that this glitch occurred after I removed the mod "Summon Dark Guardian" which I was sure I'd never use. I'm not sure how or what influence this may have had on things, so I'll let you [or anyone else reading this] be the judge. Again, thanks for whatever help you can give. G. MagisterTremere
Hello Again, Ok, I'm not sure which of the following resulted in the glitch being fixed, but suffice it to say that it is. 1. I used WryeBash to check the saves for bloat and repaired the ABomb (whether it needed it or not)2. I had DarNUI installed via OMOD. a> I uninstalled it using Oblivion Mod Manager, after which the game wouldn't start. b> Reinstalled via Oblivion Mod Manager Result: Game restarted and problem was fixed. I'm not inclined to think that it was the procedure with WryeBash because I'd tried that prior to what I did with OMM and DarNUI. Perhaps someone with more knowledge of both can explain it. I certainly can't.
