This is exactly the type of thing that motivates people to become mod makers themselves, when you see that something is missing from the game and no one else is making it. If you have ever thought of making your own mods, this would be a good starting point for you. You could do this and you might enjoy doing it.

Usually people ask this question b.c they know have the education or MEANS to do it themselves. I am one of those people. I tried and tried. and instead of ruining my brain anymore I kindly ask a professional.

You might not have meant it this say. ur comment was very positive, but most of us out here look for African mods have been looking for every and downloading all type of s#*! to tr to do it

IDK why. its crazy, but also I always see alot of "do it yourself" kinda commments and I take it as "do it yourself because you the only one who wants it"

I just read this thread today just looking for more hairstyles... look at someof the things ppl r saying. a simple request for help get this response

I think that when people say "do it yourself", it's not that they're saying nobody else cares about it. When my kids ask me to pour milk for the and I tell them to do it themselves, I definitely care that they're getting proper nutrition  I simply think they'll be better off if they learn to do it for themselves.

Many of the mod requests in the forums are people asking for things that they can do for themselves but they don't want to put the effort into it. Yeah, it might take going the extra mile of watching youtube videos, researching forums, etc. It's not going to be easy, but nothing worth doing is, right? And most modders started just like that. Sure, maybe a few of them started with prior coding experience, but that's a small niche. Most got good at what they're doing by getting down and dirty with something that they're passionate about. In retrospect, that last sentence sounds f-d up, but you get the point.

It doesn't help that a lot of mod users get an entitled view about it. They request that somebody else make them a mod, and if no mod author steps up, they get resentful and start insulting the community as a whole. Hell, I see mod users getting angry and entitled when somebody posts an image on Nexus but refuses to share their face preset or where they got the gear.

For somebody who has already honestly spent hours trying, researching, self-educating, etc and have just hit a wall, I would suggest that they go to the forums and ask for advice on how to break through the wall. I think you get much better response rates when you ask for somebody to help you figure it out instead of asking them to do it for you. A lot of mod authors really enjoy help others get started modding.

Another option is to find a mod author who has presets that you like and ask them personally via PM instead of a generally mod request.

Lastly, another source to go to for advice is Discord. Many mod authors have their own Discord servers and readily help "noobs".

Just my two cents.
