Moksha8088
This might seem like a strange question asking about wanting to purposefully download a Skyrim update, but I am struggling to play the mod Republic of Maslea and I want to use the very latest version of Fuz Roh D-oh, which requires the latest SKSE64, which requires the latest Skyrim update. So how do I force a Skyrim update? (I also have not been able to download the latest Fallout 4). BTW, I always start the game with SKSE64. Here is the question again for those who only read the last line: How do I force a Skyrim update?
Deleted3897072User
Either start the game with the original (Steam) shortcut or go into the Steam client and in the Properties of the game, verify the game's files.
Moksha8088
Solved! I took to Google to figure out how to enable the update. Turns out it was simply a matter of clearing the Steam cache. Was able to then download the latest version of SKSE64 and Fuz Roh D-oh which then solved the problem with The Republic of Maslea mod. Hurray. @OldManBeard, verifying the files would mean I would need to clean all over again with Xedit.
QuagaarWarrior
True but you only need to clean the master files again. With the auto clean process its quick and easy
