Raggeird Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 So, I don't know if this is the proper place to post this but it seems like it. Anyways, I've been using the Nexus for a few months now and have been using it for Fallout 4 and Skyrim (original). Well, I went to open the launcher yesterday (was going to edit reinstall a mod) and noticed that it wouldn't open up. I've cleaned my computer, restarted it, and even reinstalled the launcher. But nothing has fixed it. Is there something I'm not seeing? And has it happened to anyone else?
Raggeird Posted April 10, 2019 Author Posted April 10, 2019 Ah, no. The Nexus Mod Manager. Sorry this was late, I didn't see the notification until just now.
HeyYou Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 What version of NMM? May wanna post in the NMM help forums. It isn't still *officially* supported, but, there are folks still working on it. If you don't have the latest and greatest version, might try upgrading.
Raggeird Posted April 11, 2019 Author Posted April 11, 2019 Latest. I wasn't able to post there for some reason. At least I can still use Vortex for the mods.
HeyYou Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 Having both installed may be a large part of the problem.....
Raggeird Posted April 17, 2019 Author Posted April 17, 2019 Vortex was only installed after I found out I couldn't use the NMM.
HeyYou Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 Why couldn't you use NMM? I use it for my games, and it works fine......
Raggeird Posted April 30, 2019 Author Posted April 30, 2019 It won't launch. Every time I click it, the program fails to start up.
HeyYou Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 Probably some stuck registry entry...... Might try uninstalling with something like Revo Uninstaller Portable..... Reboot, reinstall, and see what happens. Keep in mind, that will likely nuke ALL your NMM folders, including 'installed mods'...... If you installed any with it.
