Philbusta Posted April 5, 2019 Share Posted April 5, 2019 So far I have had minimal CTD's on this playthrough, Only consistent CTD's I had before was crashes in/around Whiterun, traced it to a mod I had that altered Breezehome, fixed my whiterun issues and have gone back to rare CTD's since, but during the unseen visions quest in dawnguard at the ancestral glade i am consistently crashing, especially when i try to harvest the bark, it crashes without fail when I do that. It also crashes when I try to add the bark through console, using either of the bark's id codes. Stumped. I guess I could just go to a previous save and give up on finishing dawnguard, but that's a bummer. Could be a mod conflict but I've seen that this area has a history with bugs and freezes in general. Drefor Posted October 17, 2019 Share Posted October 17, 2019 I've ran into this exact problem on my playthrough.Went to Ancestral glade and got my first crash right after reading the scrolls.hought this was no big deal, reloaded the glade and went again. Crashed before I could harvest the bark. Next crash was when I was getting the moths to follow me.After twenty or so tries, I tried skipping the reading part with console commands but crashed while talking to Serena.Tried completing the quest altogether with the console and now the game crashes in a few seconds whenever I load. The best I've managed is to get out of the cave and walk around a bit but whatever I do whether it's just running in a direction or trying to load an interior such as Falkreath Jarl's Longhouse, I crash every time. Attempted cleaning the save with Fallrim tools, no avail.Attempted cleaning pretty much everything with SSEedit but nothing seems to fix the problem and my last uncorrupted save is about 7 hours of play behind (whole of Soul Cairn etc., kill me)Papyrys util logs tell me nothing.
