KillerBeer Posted April 5, 2004 Share Posted April 5, 2004 While it's nice that the procedure of mod submitting is rather simple and available to every modder, it also lets not-so-modding people abuse this site. If you look at "latest mods" page, you'll see that it contains several entries that are not mods... mildly saying. At first there was one or two such slack records, today it got over 50%, making the list of submitted mods look like a guestbook invaded by forum trolls. Give people a finger and they'll bite the whole hand :veryangry:. Restricting submission to registered members would filter out at least *some* part of useless junk and make moderators' work easier.
