TheSethos
Hey, So back when Skyrim was released I played a lot of it ( By my measly standards ). I had an excellent game going, got through the main story, had built up my character and everything was just dandy. Then I had my yearly re-install of Windows, took all my save-games and backed them up then I got cracking. Fast forward an hour or two, I was installing Steam and Skyrim, placed the savegame in the appropriate folder and went to play - It was listed as "42949 - Unknown Location" on the load screen. I tried to start it, received the following error; http://i.minus.com/ibgUha5hL3klpl.png Happened with every single save. The problem this persists today. Anything that could be done? I've tried the "Start game, get past starting sequence then hit load" with no luck. I always kept the game vanilla, no mods, no 'tweaks' just pure vanilla. I haven't played Skyrim for a long time and without my old save I probably just have to leave it as a great, great gaming memory and move on :(
