SpectrumWarrior1488
I've been playing as a raider warlord lately, and something I noticed from observing enslaved settler NPCs and raider soldiers that follow me alike is that non-companion NPCs take radiation damage, just like you. Well, problem with that is that radiation is much more plentiful, and deadly, than in the previous games. It also stacks up quickly, with no way for NPCs to cure it. This leaves me in a situation, where 15 highly trained raider soldiers follow me into a river, since their path finding takes them thru that route, and they all die, one by one, in the same spot. Or even more pathetically, all it takes is a shallow puddle for them to drop dead, with a pathetic whine and sneering comments from the rest of my squad, as they start suffering from the same fate, and one trip across the map thins my number by up to whopping 75%, depending on the route I take(Not accounting for actual damage taken during combat). Same goes for settlers, and it is especially annoying in settlements with rivers, as all of them are essentially on a timer, and it is not uncommon for me to hear their dying cries while I do misc crafting, and then see my settlement numbers drop, sometimes by half a dozen with each visit So, while I appreciate this level of detail from bethesda, my game would be much improved if there was some script that disabled all radiation poisoning effects from every human NPC. I Know that the gamma gun works differently, dealing direct radiation damage, at least the way I understand it, so this should only effect NPCs who go into radioactive areas. If a mod like this, or some other work around mod that does more or less the same thing, exist, please contact me
