True Dragons

When I'm roaming around with my archer and face a dragon I can kill it before it even hits the ground, and if it does hit the ground with about half its life left then I can kill it with my dagger in a few strokes, and i'm even playing on master. I have one dragon mod that gives the dragons enhanced abilities and more tactics to attack me but that still makes them weak. If there is a way to modify the damage input areas of the dragons such as the wings belly and back then keep reading for this suggestion, if not just stop reading this post.

First of all the wings. When I am facing a dragon there are times when I take out 1/3 of its life by hitting it in the wings with an arrow, that's just not right, what I think would be good is that any form of damage that hits a dragon in the wings should do very little damage, 2% at most. Plus, if you manage to hit the wings with magic or you're melee weapon, it will disable his flight, arrows cannot do this.

The belly and the back. Like all forms of dragon lore, dragons have a very tough plated back, and strong hide belly. What would be good is that magic and arrows would have no effect on the back on the dragon and have reduced effect on the belly, although lightning damage will not have this reduction on the belly, but a serious reduction on the back, 75% I should say.

For melee weapons I would put axes at the top and swords at the bottom, When fighting a dragon the sword should have little slashing effect towards a thick hide so a damage reduction of 60% should do and daggers should do 75% less damage, next would be hammers & maces that should do a considerate amount of internal damage but with the thick dragon bones it does little, so a 50% reduction. When it comes to axes, I think splitting the hide open and possibly hitting and artery, so what would be good is a 40% reduction in damage, but a power attack will cause bleeding to the dragon, a good 25 damage per sec.

This is how I see a facing a dragon, hopefully it is possible to make this and I will appreciate the person who does make it. I am posting this on Mod Talk and Mod Requests

What I don't like is how you can't kill them while they're flying. It can be hard enough to hit them with a bow in a heated battle without having to wait for it to land. It would also be epic to shoot it out of the sky! The crashing animation is cool and all, but I want to see it just drop when I hit it.

Skyrim does not use the Fallout 3 VATS system of which traces remain. As far as I know, there is no way for Skyrim to detect which part of a body has been hit and to adjust damage accordingly.
