Armor...Suggestion?

Hey guys. Perhaps you remember my Ganondorf Armor? Perhaps not. Well, in either case, I'm posting about it. You might ask; what is it doing under Requests? when will he quit asking for help with it? Well, I figure, it is more of a request at this point anyway, and I'll quit asking once it's out. Well, here's what I need.

I have the model. Fully textured and ready to go. For the past two weeks, I've been doing everything I can to successfully rig it myself. I've had alot of help, of course, but I can't seem to get it right in the amount of time I am able to devote to it. Schoolwork and football and all that "real world" stuff. So here it is. I offer up my model to any experienced rigger with enough time and effort to put in to make it work. There, I can't believe I said that. Of course, there are conditions, but you'll need to PM me anyway so just ask then.

What, you thought I'd just link the model file? The nerve! I'd like to clear ya first, if you don't mind. Many thanks to anyone who even take the time to listen to this, and here's a picture for you poor unfortunate souls who haven't seen this effort:

Ok, rigging.. right. How to explain. Well each model is basicaly built from triangles and polygons (usualy quads (triangles=3 endpoints, quad=4 simple, yes?)), the points at which the triangles and polygons connect to each other to form a model are called vertexes. So now, in order to controll all of the different models with just a single set of animations a skeleton is used. That means, that we've got a skeleton that is controlled by animations and many many different models. In order for the game engine to know how to controll each of theese different models with a single standart skeleton, the models have to undergo a procedure called rigging. So what you do is take each of the vertexes on the model and bind them to one or several specific bones on the skeleton. This way the game knows how to move different parts of the model propperly.

It's a painfull process lemme tell you.

So no, rigging doesn't mean putting it into an BSA/ESP/ESM although it's one of the steps you have to take to get there. It basicaly just means connecting a model propperly to the skeleton.

I'm glad you explained it to him, IHRE, but my problem still persists. Speaking of which, would you be willing to do this for me? There's a good chance we could use this stuff in the DC Mod. The only reason I can no longer rig this armor is because I haven't got the time. Between school and football and more important [DC] modding work. So whaddya say, hmmm?

I figured it would seem a bit pushy to directly ask one of the moderators to do this for me. I mean, it isn't that I don't know how to rig, I just don't have time. That is why I put it under requests; so someone could take it and it would still get done.

Letting someone else do it would be a much better choice, seeing that I barely have the time to read theese forums between comming home and working on my assigments and then pulling all-nighters to actualy finish them in time. Worse yet, the upcomming months will be even more hectic. The months before winter holydays mark a time of hard work for every advertisment designer, especialy for the ones working in companies as small as mine.

Connan is a fine chap, he's one of the good people that can do it - judging from that mandalorian armor he finalized from a mesh.
