FOMM Errors, Extesion "fomod" is not supported.

I've been installing a few mods for Fallout 3, but I have never gotten this message before.

 

Error loading *any fomod*

Extension "fomod" is not a supported archive file name extesion.

 

I haven't the slightest clue how to fix this. :cryvaultboy:

 

EDIT: the same thing is happening for New Vegas. So something is quite wrong with FOMM. :(

 

Also, if I try to extract files directly to my Data folder, it says there is no archive.

This has worked before I tried to add the Zombie Apocalypse mod.

I'm anxious to get FOMM working again, but I have no idea how to fix this.
