TheAinIndividual
Hi all. Currently, my Skyrim has been getting so bright lately that any sunlight looks bright white. Strangely it looks completely fine in the shadows, it's just in the sunlight the issue remains. I did have an ENB installed when the problem started (T.A.Z Visual Overhaul) but since then I've removed the files but the problem still persists. I've also disabled every mod I have, and before that I used LOOT and TES5Edit.Re-installing Skyrim only makes it more intense. If anyone has any help I would greatly appreciate it.Examples: Here are my specs (I have a desktop):CPU: 3.20GHzCPU speed: 3.19GHzGraphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (Driver version 419.67)Video RAM: 15.95 GBSystem RAM: 16 GBHard Drive free space: 87.6 GB (of 931 GB) Game is located in E:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim but there are also some files in C:\Users\[mynamehere]\Documents\My Games\Skyrim , will post a list if necessary. Thank you very much for reading. EDIT: I'm playing on Skyrim Legendary Edition (so all official DLC), and SKSE version 1_07_03 Edited April 11, 2019 by TheAinIndividual
WsElite
what mod manager do you use ? (MO2, Vortex ?). If you use MO2, open your MO2, search for "open folder" icon, select the open ini's folder and open your skyrim prefs and search this line bFloatPointRenderTarget=0 (change it to 1) hope this will help you out. TheAinIndividual
what mod manager do you use ? I use Vortex. I managed to find Skyrimprefs.ini though and did as you said. I'm not sure if that's what fixed it though, because before coming back here I went into my Data settings via the Skyrim startup menu and checked the box correlating to my ENB ("TAZ_lightingDLC")Turns out what happened was, I still had the files for the ENB in my Skyrim folder - including the .esp file for TAZ. But something had gone horribly wrong because it wasn't checked in the Data settings.Game is working fine now. ^^Thanks a bunch for suggesting that anyway. The error message is gone!
