C3ntury79 Posted August 12, 2012 Share Posted August 12, 2012 I'm not sure if it's ever been mentioned, but it would be nice to have a mod that coincides with other dialog mods to actually alter the AI behavior of npc/followers. It drives me nuts that you can set a followers skill-set, yet once an enemy encounter is initiated, even if told to wait, a group hack-n-slash results. So for example, if an npc/follower is primarily an archer with a light weaponry background the npc/follower should attack via archery within a certain radius (not everyone can be legolus and fire 100 arrows in 30 sec within a foot of an enemy :/ ). I assume you could grant archers a higher % in using their primary over their secondary skill-set within that given radius; this would be useful for any ranged weapon. In relation to this, it would be useful if npc/followers actually held ground in a given radius where you initially told them to stay during combat (not run after every enemy for 100yrds). This could allow for "C.O.D. like" attack strategies involving ranged attacks, tanking, etc. Thank you for considering! :] Sorry if this has been created or overly discussed in greater detail, haven't seen it if so.
