Dawnguard possible bug, game thinks I still need the dragon scroll

I already did blackreach and retrieved the dragon elder scroll and killed alduin and then started dawnguard and I just got the third scroll from the soul cairn, find the elder scroll dragon is still in my menu, I even dropped it from my menu's inventory and picked it up and the quest to find it is still there, I haven't returned the dwarven cube to Septimus Signus yet so maybe that bugged up the quest?

Try giving it to the orc at the library then asking for it back?

Just curious, must i do the Skyrim MQ first, or can i do Dawnguard now.

It's not necessary i believe. Both require the scroll which can be obtained by one quest.

Ok after starting Dawnguard, i realized that theres a Reason for doing the Skyrim MQ First, i mean whats the point in New Word Walls if i cant even Shout. :facepalm:

Actually when I killed alduin first and then did dawnguard and had the elder scroll dragon in my inventory already and then started dawnguard, the quest to get it came up again and was stuck in my menu, even they'll I already had the scroll and did the dragon ending first, so I'd get dawguard out of the way first and then do the base game quests!..
