Doing a fresh install for quest mods, could use recommendations.

Doing a fresh install, where I can play New Vegas, where I just do quest mods like Al Chestbreach does. But before I delve into them, I'd like recommendations for what I should do to make it easier.

Before I begin, I wanna make this clear. And believe me, I mean this in the nicest way possible.

Please, I am beggging you, DO NOT assume that I'm deadset on anything(well, aside from going into the GECK myself and doing complex, time consuming editing myself) I've created similar topics before, and because of the way that I've phrased things in the intro post alone, people have assumed that I was unwilling to change my mind, and were unwilling to help me out.

1. What mods should I download to make this easier for me? I know that I probably need to install New Vegas Script Extender, Mod Configuration Menu, New Vegas Anti-Crash, 4GB Fallout New Vegas, but what else should I be using. I wanna make things as stable as possible.

2. Maybe suggest some save files on this website that I can download?

3. Maybe some mods like Traffic and Nevada Skies? Populated Casinos? Think they'd be good, or should I go with something similar but better?

4. What about MTUI? or or Centered 3rd Person Camera? Stuff like this. Should I go for these, or something similar, but better? Please recommend mods along these lines.

5. Can you recommend some super easy to set up visual mods? Maybe a combo of mods that make the game look good, but don't sacrafice stability.

6. Which map mod should I go for? It'd be especially great if I could get a map mod that looks like a really easy to read map. I favor practicality here over lore friendliness.

7. Even with the search feature, I find it really hard to find topics. Know of any topics that might have asked something similar to this?

8. Any other advice that you're willing to give would be great.

Willing to consider a lot, and I appreciate any suggestions you're willing to give.

For stability I recommend anyone read the entire "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article to understand the differences between this game and others you may have experience with; especially if this is your first attempt to play a modded FNV or it's been more than a year since you last did so.

* You can also get "out of memory" errors from the graphics system (which is separate from exhausting system memory), even with the game 4GB enabled. The video pipeline is known to have "memory leaks", and these occur faster with "beautification mods". Here the cause is a combination of larger image sizes ("higher resolutions", aka "hi-rez"), hi-rez texture packs for skin, hair, clothes, weapons, and landscape; along with mods that increase the number of NPCS in a given cell. (All those hi-rez texture "personal accessories" get multiplied by the number of Actors.) Please see the wiki "Display resolution versus Image Size" article. While "ENBoost" can help, you may need to switch to lower resolution/ smaller sized images or even lower quality in your game graphics configuration.

The general use advice section is huge. Any specific parts you'd recommend reading, as there's no way I could memorize all that with my goldfish memory.

and yeah, if there's a ton of issues still with visual mods, maybe I shouldn't bother with them.

Still hoping I can get some mod recommendations.

Don't try to memorize it. Use it as a "resource" and look things up as they apply. But everything does apply. A "stable" game takes about a week to setup correctly. But that is better than getting 100 hours into the game and having things get corrupted.

Maybe using Mod Organizer https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6194 (works with new vegas) so you can install\uninstall with ease and making profiles with seprate save files on mod organizer so you can play different mods at different times without conflicting, also i would recommend your hands a little dirty and try to install rudy enb and nmcs textures for a beautiful outcome

If you need a fun quest mod i would recommend new vegas bounties

I'm not planning to spend 100 hours on a savegame, Again, I'm focusing entirely on quest mods.

Still hoping that someoen who is really knownledgable of awesome mods can actually answer most of my questions.

Isn't there anyone here on this board that really knows a lot of cool mods?
