cfh85 Posted August 13, 2012 Share Posted August 13, 2012 (edited) It's been nice over the last 2 days to take a break from my large mod to do some request (how well is debatable at this point) and actually feel like I'm getting somewhere. My main mod contains 1000's of new items, 100's of scripts, 100's of spells and it feel likes I'm getting nowhere with it because it's so far from any point of release. Not that I'm complaining or that I'm surprised, I was aware of the amount of work involved. So, anyway. If anybody has any requests I'd like a couple more before I jump back into my mod. Mostly I'm good at scripting. I can do some minor nif editing in nifskope and blender but I'm no modeller. Obviously there are LOADS of modders resources so if you want a custom weapon/armour/clothing etc that has a special scripted effect and you don't expect me to create the model then there is plenty to choose from. I can create quests but I'm only going to if it's quite short but still meaningful. An example of which is that next I'm going to make a mod to recharge welkynd and varla stones. The mod will involve placing the stones in a chest, in a dungeon, and when you return several enemies will spawn in the dungeon depending on how many stones you deposit. There will be a waiting time of about 2 weeks(maybe more) ingame to encourage you to place more stones in at once. (this is someone else's request) Anyone with any requests that fit close to this, post here and I'll consider it. Any that I like (and can do) I will do, though they will be done in order of posting and after the next few days I will be concentrating more on my mod, but will still make time for the little projects as they're fun Edit. Obviously the vendor wont have any voice acted dialogue (for now). back to my original question, did you mean to make it so that the sword can be purchased once per week? if so I'm curious as to the reason for this? Going to start creating the shop and vendor tomorrow. Released my Varla and Welkynd Stone recharge Mod today as well as improving my summon anything mod, so been a little busy. I said once a week cus i didn't remember what the refresh time was for item to be restocked at a store, but what ever the normal reset time would be ok by me. Just as long as can get more that just two ever. I've added 3 swords to his inventory and they respawn (I think every 3 days is the norm) I can't see how there could be any problems, but let me know if there is. Note to anybody else with a request. I wont be doing another "just add this item here/for sale" as I don't learn anything from it.I'm more interested in creating new scripted abilities/effects. Currently I'm going to be working on an enchanted bow. The enchantment produces infinite arrows. More importantly is that the arrows it provides you with varies depending on if you're sneaking and hidden or not. I figure if you're undetected and have a high enough marksman skill you should be able to get a one shot kill, so you will. I'll make two versions, 1 with instant kill, the other will just have increased damage. This is my own idea and I expect to release it today or tomorrow. Edit.
