A Question on New Merchants

To begin, I am very new to these forums and to modding Skyrim in general, so if I placed this topic in the wrong section I am sorry. If you could tell me where such questions should go you will help me out a great deal in the future! =)

 

I decided that I wanted Dawnstar to have a general goods store, so I created the "Frigid Goods" cell, connected it to a Dawnstar cell, created a merchant npc that was placed into the jobmerchant faction and new specific faction for the store (Dawnstargoodsfaction) I also created the merchant chest and connected it to the Dawnstargoodsfaction.

My problem is that when I try to test the merchant, she just tells me that I'm not supposed to be here.

When I placed her outside of her store/house she will trade like all the other merchant npcs. Basically, how do I make it okay for the player to enter this store for the times it is "open" Does anyone know what I missed?

I thought the same thing actually, so I did some investigating into other shops and noticed that the door ownership was set to the merchant npc in those shops. I changed the door ownership in my new cell to the merchant npc but she still wants me to leave... =( Anything more specific? Edited by enferfeu
