TheEvann
Skyrim crashes to the Desktop and gives me no error during random events which makes the game unplayable at random points. It only effects very specific, but at the same time, random parts. So there are certain monsters i can't attack, certain conversations i can't have, and just a moment ago it started crashing at the very beginning just as Alduin is about to do his first shout, which is a new one. I've tried the shadow detail fix and am cycling through the audio qualities right now but id like to see if anyone has had the same issue and found a fix for it. Also it does it with random items too, say a undead draws a sword, crash. Attack with certain spell, crash. use certain item, crash. talk to certain person, crash. and so on. EDIT: Is there a 4GB exe for this game, i feel like that might be a possible fix unless they addressed that in a patch. EDIT: found it...it was the Realistic Thunder Sound mod, it was conflicting with the shouts. Edited August 14, 2012 by TheEvann
cycloney911
Yes, i have those type of issues yesterday. Can you save then chcek what the size of the save? It's located at My documents > my games > skyrim > saves. I used a mod that affected the weather but caused other major problems. I had to reload to a save where the mod never existed and it fixed all the problems i had.
