So after a few seconds of playing, or certain locations in the Old World Blues DLC leads me to crashing. I'm not sure if it's tied but the quest for X-8, advanced tests and the unusual species has been causing me to crash the moment I get into the game. Which like I said, a few seconds and I just crash. Not sure what the issue is, I've only recently added two texture mods. New ones that is, but I've disabled them and my game still crashed in the end.. The text above is my NVAC log, not sure if that even says what's causing my crashes, but I sure hope it does.

Anytime the game "Crashes to the Desktop" (CTD) it's typically going to generate an error message in the Windows Eventlog. Please see the "Windows Error Messages" section of the wiki "How to read most Bethesda game error logs" article.

Simply "disabling" the mod (depending upon your mod manager) may not be sufficient to remove the replacement "texture" files and restore the vanilla versions. "Texture packs" don't usually show up in the "load order". (They are replacing vanilla assets; thus they overwrite existing files.) And the issue with them is what size/resolution of the images you are using. Larger/"hi-rez" textures require more pixels, and larger screen display monitors multiply that requirement in a non-linear way. While your hardware may technically be able to handle it, the game was published in late 2010, designed for Windows Vista with maximum screen displays of 1920x1080, with default image sizes of 512x512 pixels. The game engine texture cache tends to be the bottleneck: "leaking memory" and causing "stutter". Please see the wiki "Display resolution versus Image Size" article.

Please see the 'Vanilla Load Order' entry in the 'First Timer Advice' section; and the 'Common Game Problems' section of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article.

If the problem persists, then see either the 'Solutions to Starting the game problems' or the 'Solutions to "Crash To Desktop" (CTD) problems' sections in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide.

I recommend anyone read the entire "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article to understand the differences between this game and others you may have experience with; especially if this is your first attempt to play a modded FNV or it's been more than a year since you last did so.
