Grizzlee1
I downloaded FNIS and SKSE64 and after that my game won't launch. I can't launch it in steam, from SKSE 64 launcher, or any other way.
rmm200
What does game not launching have to do with the screenshot of the FNIS executable? It would be more helpful to have a screenshot of your game directory. And did you Deploy?Define "Won't launch". Tell us exactly what you do, and what you see.

When I try to launch the script extender loader stops before anything happens, the same thing with when I try to launch it through vortex. When I try to launch it through steam it launches the menu and when i press play nothing happens and the menu closes down. I have deployed multiple times and nothing happens. I have gotten the FNIS error message sometimes in vortex.
rmm200
OK - a couple of steps.Open Vortex, click the button called Purge. Wait until done.Close Vortex.Navigate to your game directory.Double click SkyrimSE.exe. What happens - exactly?Double click skse64.exe. What happens - exactly? And while you are at it, download and install SSEEdit. You will need it eventually:https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/

rmm200
Open Vortex / Settings. On Interface tab select Enable Advanced Mode (Someone bug report this. Purge is not an advanced option, and should always be available)Go to Mods page.Purge Mods is on top toolbar. Click it. This removes all Vortex hard links in your game directory and returns it to squeeky clean.

rmm200
Now is the time for that SSEEdit. Install it, have your mods deployed, and run SSEEdit.exe.It will run through your load list and tell you if you are missing anything.

The only problem was that I was trying to run a Skyrim mod in Skyrim SE. Thanks for the help though.
