Help with MMM

This is the 3rd or 4th time I have posted this thread. I downloaded the latest MMM on the nexus, which is 353, and then downloaded the updated esm/esp files. I installed the meshes/sound/textures/everything correctly, and it will not work correctly with either set of esps/esms. Some monsters work fine, others are completely invisible, and others have missing textures/meshes. I am not mismatching the esms/esps. The reason I think that it will not work is because I do not have MMM 3.5 Refresh, which the Install.doc tells me I need. The link to this in the document does not work, and the website doesn't either. I cannot find this file anywhere. Also, the mod will not work when I start a new game with no mods whatsoever enabled, so it isn't an error due to conflicting mods. This is extremely annoying, and I very much want to play this mod. Thanks in advance. Sorry for the convoluted description of my problem.

Download my "FCOM Install Guide and Tweak Guide" and check out section 3.5 (MMM downloads), section 4.7.3 (MMM install) (Don't delete all the optional files in step "P" if you are not running FCOM), and section 4.10 (Customizing) for help on installing the most recent uptodate version of MMM.

Thank you, but I followed it up until the 3.6 update, which I am downloading now, but it still doesn't work. The only possible thing I could think of would be a corrupted download, but if anyone has any other ideas, I would be glad to hear them.

Yes, it's hard to find. Don't know why that is.

 

After this, DL the 3.6beta 2 upgrade and install it over this one. It's a small DL that only replaces a few textures and updates some esp's.

 

There's a 3.6beta 3, but it's in testing, so not available yet.

 

If only nexus could handle the 'big boys' I wouldn't need to go anywhere else.lol.

You're welcome. BTW, that site is more reliable for the "big mods" than Planet Elder Scrolls, and NEVER, if you can help it, download anything off of filefront, half the mods on filefront are broken/buggy or just not that interesting to bother with.

 

TesNexus and Strategy Informer's Oblivion, and for english converted German mods, PlanetOblivion, you don't need any but these three. (I've only gotten 2 "must have" mods off of PlanetOblivion, Oblivion WarCry and Castle Ravenpride, the server for that site works very well)

 

Some mods you can only get from modder's personal server choices. However, the Bethesda Oblivion site, Oblivion Mods section, contains threads maintained by most modders. Plus, they'll contain links to the current mod of theirs. I've recently started alpha testing a mod for Waalx, his WAC mod, Waalx's Animals & Creatures...over 350 new creatures and animals coming...this'll be a must have mod when it's ready to go.

 

Only problem, it being ONE section of that site devoted to mods, it can be hard to find particular ones.

 

Yes, you can get the MMM 3.6beta 2 upgrade off of Nexus.
