insectorx
Solved: there are 2 separate skyrimprefs.ini files. I don't see why this isn't more talked about.it took me forever to find this out. edit them both --------------------------------------------------- Ive tried both of the multi monitor mods on nexus and neither of them bring me into widescreen. I changed the skyrimpref file like it said on the page w/ skyui 2.2 these are the only mods installed at the moment. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks. These are all of the triple screen sse mods I could find. I'm new to all this, but I've seen people running in triple screen mode before many times:https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1793/(the above mod had 4 versions, I tried them all)https://www.nexusmod...tion/mods/6376/ both of the above mods did the same thing: it just opens skyrim up on my Left-most screen of a triple monitor setup with a menu that has "menu selection options" (Continue/New/etc) so small i can't even read them. It won't run in widescreen (multimonitor), it only runs on the one screen im using Vortex version 0.17.112 mods installed (I had more but now am just trying to get 3 screens to work first before going back and adding the rest back)(vortex keeps yelling at me about "fins not installed" after disabling it, and fins data keeps reenabling itself) Brand new, just built:Windows 10 pro (fully updated)ryzen 5 160016 GB RamAmd R9 FurySkyrim Special Edition (fully updated)SKSE64 manually installedEnb manually installed Eyefinity activated @ 5760x1080 I modified the skyrimpref file to 5760x1080 and mouse speed to 0.330 Also i set fullscreen and the bezel option to whatever it said to in the mod You'll need to set the resolution in SkyrimPrefs.ini to the following:iSize H=1080iSize W=5760 If you have issues with mouse speed in menus, set fMouseCursorSpeed in SkyrimPrefs.ini to the following: fMouseCursorSpeed=0.3300 if you still need more information please let me know. thank you
Silverhorn2k5
I can't seem to find a second file. I'm having the same issue you described, and I'm in an almost exactly same set up. I'm getting skyrim on the left monitor with the small text. I also have:Windows 10 pro (fully updated)Skyrim Special Edition (fully updated)Eyefinity activated @ 5760x1080 Very frustrating. Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated. ***UPDATE***I am also an idiot. I have both Skyrim and Skyrim SE on my computer. This means I have 4 separate files. 2 Skyrimprefs.ini in my documents local to my C: drive, and 2 MORE in my steam libraries! This is two for each game, I guess this should have been obvious, but it took me a LONG time to find the ones in my documents, I thought I had it when I changed the one in my steam library, but then it didn't work, then I found the second one in there by searching (not realizing that it was from the Skyrim (OG) version). So for each version of the game, go to:C:\Users\(My Computer Name Goes Here)\Documents\My Games\ -> Then you'll see EACH listed version of Skyrim, and each has their own Skyrimprefs.ini file. ALSO go to your steam library and edit the one there:(Your Steam Library Location Goes Here)\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Skyrim -> ANOTHER Skyrimprefs.ini file Hope this helps anyone like me who was still confused after reading this post. I know this horse is long dead but I still love this game, and in the few years between run throughs, I forget this stuff. Enjoy.
