Sword/Shield animation file question - Video of problem

-How can I weild a shield and sword normally?

-Why are some of the forsworn (in the video) have the same problem as I do with my shield, but yet they only have swords?

 

I wish to add the missing files from my original BSAs, thing is though, I don't know what there names are. I'd greatly appreciate any help.

This looks like you are missing some animation. I suppose it is the draw animation that is missing or may be conflicting with something.

 

check your folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\skyrim\Data\Meshes\actors\character\animations. Make a save and try to remove files like : 1hm_attackleft.hkx , 1hm_attackpower.hkx , 1hm_attackright.hkx ; 1hm_runrightattackleft.hkx

 

Did you install any mods that change animation ? Did you use Nexus Mod Manager to install them ?

I fixed the problem, if you ever install this " mod ", be very careful to read the instructions. This all happened because I updated my Skyrim with it installed. The files from this mod are all vanilla files but with different extensions on them, but perform the same actions. The game confused these files as something that needs to belong to a BSA (I believe) and the game was literally missing those files. Perhaps there was a reading error in the animations, but I installed PCEA's animations from a folder inside this mod and installed all the necessary hkx file for one handed combat w/ shield.

 

I got a bad feeling that I haven't fixed it, but my game hasn't crashed yet and I'm seeing myself use a shield while walking/sprinting without doing that plane body figure.

 

Thanks Brick for giving me those names, I would have been confused otherwise.
