Mouse clicks are annoying.Clicker trained dog problem.

Recommended Posts

I cannot stand it anymore! The constant clicking is making me go crazy. Sounds like some type of space insect is in the room with me. Plus my clicker trained dogs are very confused because the mouse makes the same damned noise as the training clicker. The second I start gaming they stare a me expecting treats or something. I'm pretty sure this is screwing up the youngest, she thinks she is always doing something right.

Anywho, does anybody know how to get rid of the clicky thing in the mouse or of sometype of magical clickless mouse?

Mouse clicks and a clicker should sound totally different unless you have some sort of strange mouse type with heavy buttons. While a different mouse is suggested, ultimately it might boil down to having to train your dogs to only respond to the sound of a clicker (usually louder and with a deeper sound), rather than anything that makes a clicking sound. Most dog breeds should be able to differentiate the two in time.

I do not use a loud popping type of clicker because of a shy dog that did not like it. Also everytime you click the thing in public everyone for 50ft around looks at you, I find the softer clickers better. Unfortunate for me it sounds like a mouse click.
