v505bx Posted August 13, 2012 Share Posted August 13, 2012 I've encounter this bug numerous of times with every playthrough and it annoyed me to no ends. Right after talking to Esbern for the first time, he tells me to wait while he opens the door...I waited... Nothing. The door doesn't open so I tried using TCL to go through the door and talk to him... He does not talk to me at all. I my third playthrough of the main quest, through some freaky good luck, he actually opens to door, but on my eighth playthrough using a vigilant of stenddar based high elf he does not open the door.
