What's the point of playing as a Vampire without dealing with it's ups and downs?Whatever happened to strategy and forethought? Why play a game with no consequences of Your actions or play style?Or why not just request a "Vampire Poser Mod" that gives You white makeup, black hair dye, plastic fangs, contact lenses, and Your choice of black trenchcoat or cape,so You can go into town and freak out the squares.

I like how the Vampire overhaul mod does it.

Here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11487/?

Sure, at first you are a fledgling with no resistance to the sun or any other vampire weaknesses for that matter, but as you grow older the weaknesses become less and less, which makes sense as a vampire would gradually build up a resistance to it's weaknesses. Even if they didn't they'd take measures to reduce and eventually eliminate these weaknesses anyway.

Generally speaking, you cannot remove the drawbacks of becoming a vampire without using console command or mods, since vampirism is already too op with the necromage perk benefits. One way to mitigate the weekness of fire/sunlight as a vampire is to choose dark elf for fire resistance and enchant your gear with magicka/stamina regen. The other way is to use Serana's Bloodcursed Elven Arrows to block the sunlight, or just learn to go out at night.

However, if you want to exploit the game and avoid all the disadvantage as a vampire, you don't need a mod to achieve this goal at all.

To do this, simply open the console by pressing ~

Type in

player.setrace [customrace]vampire

Note that [customerace] is the race of your choice, for example:

player.setrace nordracevampire

player.setrace bretonracevampire

etc etc..

You would see some slightly changes of your face when the command is executed correctly. And you should also have 100% resist poison and disease in your active effect.

When you use this command you will automatically become stage 1 vampire WITHOUT any weakness and you don't need to feed at all. Your vampirism will not progress to the next stage and you still get all the benefit from the necromage

perk(which means +25% to all enchanting effect, shouts, potions, standing stone etc).

Two things to notice:

1: DO NOT FEED. Feeding on any sleeping NPC will break your tags and you will become REAL stage 1 vampire with all the powers and weakness, and your vampirism will progress to the next stage if you don't feed constantly.

2: DO NOT INSTALL UESP PATCH 1.2.3 OR ABOVE. As UESP Group "Patched" the necromage perk and changed the game at their will where they shouldn't in opposite to the offical skyrim legendary edition(patch 1.9).

The drawback of this method is that you lose some of the benefit from vampirism, and might not be able to become vampire lord.

For example you will not have Champion of the Night effect that increases the potency of your Illusion spells by 25%, and Nightstalker's Footsteps that makes you 25% harder to detect while sneaking.

In the big picture, these power doesn't matter that much as the major benefits from vampirism are stronger spells and enchanting effects of the necromage setup.

FYI:UESP patching this utility makes no sence to me as first, you are already an undead vampire and second, it would prevent people from becoming a vampire at all due to its annoying weakness.
