Armor skins help!

Hello guys I'm having a problem with an armor skin that I downloaded ages ago before i had NMM. I've sinced deleted and reinstalled the game a couple times and searched my computer for any known mods. Yet I still can't seem to find which mod is doing it. It's some skimpy armor mod and even when I get Caliente's new armor mod to try and replace it that doesn't work. It stays the lame skimpy armor that I downloaded sometime in the past. Is there any way to search out mods that may be hiding out in other areas of your computer without knowing the names? I deleted everything to do with Skyrim, downloads, mods etc. Please any help is very appreciated. Thanks.

The only way this can happen is if you have that armour's mesh and texture in your "Skyrim/Data/Meshes/Armor" and "Skyrim/Data/Textures/Armor" folder. Two things you can do:

1- Go into these folders and search for that skimpy armour mesh and texture and delete them.

2-Uninstall all your armour mods through NMM. Go back to the Meshes/Armor and Textures/Armor folders and you'll probably find that skimpy armour files left alone. Delete them.

I tried that. Theres no armor meshes in there. At least not named that. What happens if i delete the mesh and textures folders? lol

If you delete the folders, all meshes and textures from mods will be deleted. The game's original data won't be affected since they're stored in .bsa archives.

So yeah move the folders to your recycle bin. If the skimpy armour is still there, then it's probably also stored in a .bsa archive.
