Sorting Mods

Okay I haven't been on skyrim in a while, so I had a few questions.

 

When I'm installing mods, can I have subfolders in the Data folder? Or is there a general way to sort and identify them?

Also, is NMM or the Steam Skyrim Addons better than the other?

And lastly, Can I use NMM, the steam skyrim addons, and ones i've installed manually all at the same time? Or do I have to pick only one method?

No you cant subfolder the files

 

Yes you can use multiple methods to install mods as long as the mods don't conflict with each other.
