Japser1977
Hi all! As of today I am planning to start with Fallout New Vegas! Looking forward to it, really! I have installed it with all the available DLC and I also downloaded several mods as per below: NMC Medium Texture packMission MojaveNew Vegas Bounties INew Vegas Bounties IIWillow: a Companion Nevada Skies:URWLified Would this be a good start? I am actually looking to add gameplay through quests and the companion and also to enhance the visuals. It is however pretty hard given that with these mods installed I get random crashes each 15-20 mins after I get out of Goodsprings and exploring the surrounding area's. I have intalled these using NMM and manual install for the NMC pack. I also use the NVSE 4GB loader to load the game. Should I actually load from NMM using a custom launch rule pointing to that file? What would be a good set of mods to get the experience I am after? - Enhanced visuals- Extended gameplay- Increased difficulty (option to go hardcore as hardcore was meant to be) Should I add Project Nevada as well? And should I start learning to use FOMM and only use NMM to download the mods? Sorry for all these questions, it is all very overwhelming to begin with :)
Japser1977
Another quick question which I have not been sure about: as soon as you install FOMM you have the option to create a launch command from there correct? Do you point that launch command to the NVSE 4GB launcer or do you have to to launch directly from that launcher and not from FOMM?
scottydk
Thinking along the same lines myself :) NMC Texture pack - prettyELECTRO City - prettyNevada Skies - prettyMTUI - pretty A world of Pain - questyNew Vegas Bounties 1 & 2 - questy Project Nevada - game enahcement ??? As far as I understand it NVSE is the only mod which is installed without fomm. Simply download the latest client and follow the instructions in the readme, fomm SHOULD automatically detect NVSE.Simply start New Vegas through fomm and everything should be fine.
