Problem Solving: Follower Linked Crime

Hey guys, I'm looking to work through a problem, and I wanted to throw the topic out here in mod discussion to see if I couldn't catch the eye of a modder/scripter with experience in this area.

First, some quick background: I can not script for Skyrim. I have very minor experience in C++ and Python, but have no experience at all with Papyrus. That's why I'm bringing this to you guys.

Very simply, I'm looking to see if it's possible to de-link crimes committed by an NPC Follower with the player. Specifically, in the case that I'm interested in, I'd like to be able to command NPC Followers to do actions (such as attacking/killing) without retaliation coming back to the player. I have already brought this request to the Mod Request forums:

Hm... upon further examination, it looks like all the components of the "favor state" are hard-coded and can't be edited. I've been looking through the follower favor state dialogue options, and their scripts don't get anymore complex than "akspeaker.setdoingfavor()". This suggests that favor state is a fundamental function of Papyrus scripting, and can't be manipulated through the CK.

My suggestion? It's something of a long-shot, but you could try contacting the makers of SKSE. They'll have more insight into editing Papyrus functions than 95% of the modders you'll find here or anywhere else.

I've done just that and contacted the SKSE team, but have yet to hear back from them. So, in an attempt to cover a larger area, I thought I'd bring the problem to the rest of the modders here. Does anyone have more insight into this area and/or an idea as to how something like this could be accomplished?
