Deleted58209541User
I'm trying to make several thematic moving objects for a dungeon. Moving platforms, shifting stones, spooky shuddering furniture, etc. But the Oblivion game engine doesn't like it when you script static objects or activator objects to move. I have made a script which should move an object--visually it DOES move--but the engine keeps the physics of the object at the original location. I have not been able to work around this limitation on my own, even using disable/move/enable tricks. Rather than keep trying to troubleshoot my script, I would like to examine a successful script of this sort. Would anyone be kind enough to list a mod or two they know of that have moving object scripts?
TesaPlus
Hi, there's a moving swing. https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/48124Brace yourself, the script is .. umm .. aesthetically lacking. But it works very nicely. The whole business is not as trivial as one might hope, though.
QQuix
I did a lot of experimental research on moving objects. It has been a while and I do not remember the details Check these two mods in my Conceptiuals QQuix Conceptual - Wagon away (YouTube video) QQuix Conceptual - Zero G Room (YouTube video)
Deleted58209541User
Ah! Many thanks, both of you. The wagon and the swing seem like exactly the kinds of examples I need.
