Goculen Posted April 21, 2019 Share Posted April 21, 2019 Hello, I created a few grenades which spawn in creatures, but they still do damage. How do I remove the damage from my grenades or even the explosion? I´ve tried to alter it, but it won´t let me. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
dubiousintent Posted April 21, 2019 Share Posted April 21, 2019 Did you create your own custom object effect instead of trying to alter an existing one? (See "Explosion" in the GECKWiki.) Did you create your own custom "Projectile" or "Ammo" grenade? If so, did you change any of the values in the "Explosion Dialog"? Goculen Posted April 21, 2019 Author Share Posted April 21, 2019 (edited) I used an already existing one: the plasma grenade, then I copied a script and used that to make the creatures spawn and then simpy applied to the weapon. dubiousintent Posted April 22, 2019 Share Posted April 22, 2019 Did you give your copied plasma grenade a new "Editor-ID" to make it unique? In which case it should let you edit it's "Explosion Dialog"; which has both "Damage" and "Radius" values. If you didn't change the "Editor-ID", then it is still using the same "base form" which you should not change as it will affect all others in the game. -Dubious- Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
