cfh85
the follow package used in companions is fairly straight forward. I'm not sure how you could make NPCs have problems with stairs. I had the problem before with a lot of vanilla npcs. I had setup a lot of mods, so I don't know if it came from a specific mod or if it's just a glitch (like completing KotN preventing you from sitting)

scarycave
I think it might be the way I'm using the Add Script Package. I have it run every few seconds, so maybe it's confusing Merrill? I'll see if I can take a look at it today and let you know if I find anything. Thanks for telling me about the problem. :) Her nude problem is an easy fix. I just have to add an OnLoad Block that removes her armor, and adds a new one. I'll get that up ASAP. It's a good thing their are no kids in Oblivion to see that. Must be a P-Virus outbreak or something in Cydroil. :) Edited August 20, 2012 by scarycave
cfh85
Why are you using addscriptpackage? it's easier to add the packages to the NPC and have a faction rank condition. When you ask the NPC to follow/stay or any other commands it changes their rank which then causes a different package to be used

Started doing it when I released the Stray Dog mod and I fell in love with it ever since. I think I got her coding fixed now, I did have the package update to much, now it checks if shes not running a follow package. Now, her clothing is a bit trickier then I thought. I'm going to have to do some experiments.

scarycave
That solves the armor problem then. I'm going to try to see if I can make her a default armor that she'll put on when she doesn't have other armor so you can't just strip her down to her undies. :) Once I get that done I'll upload the file again and she should be all set. @cfh85I don't know if it will conflict with your inventory mod though, since that would lead to an infinite supply of armor. Does it work on all items or only non-quest items? -EDIT-Okay, I made it so Merrill adds a new armor if she's not wearing her standard armor. She removes the old one and adds the new one. I need to do a bit more testing, as all I did was set her health to 9999 and her aggression to 100 and let her destroy Anvil. Her armor never broke, even when fighting the spell-seller from my other mod who can launch you thousands of feet in the air. I want to do a quick dispel armor test when my laptop cools off. Been having over-heating problems unfortunately. Edited August 21, 2012 by scarycave
