VAULTRENEGADE
I recently downloaded skyrim VR, naturally, I want to get into the modding scene. Upon downloading the creation kit from the bethesda launcher, I encountered the usual "steam_api64.dll was not found", whereupon I simply copied the corresponding .dll file from my steam directory. The creation kit now "functions", but I've encountered another issue where the install path of the creation kit doesn't properly point to my steam VR directory. As such, every time I open the creation kit I get a warning message stating: "Could not find model Meshes\Sky\Atmosphere.nifCould not find model Meshes\Sky\Clouds.nifCould not find model Meshes\Water\DefaultProceduralWater.NIFCould not find model Meshes\TranslateGizmo.NIFCould not find model Meshes\RotateGizmo.NIFCould not find model Meshes\ScaleGizmo.NIFCould not find model Meshes\PrimitiveGizmo.NIF" Upon doing some research, it looks like there's a way to change the CK registry which might fix this (referenced here: https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimvr/comments/8fsj8j/cant_use_the_creation_kit/), but I for some reason I don't have Skyrim Special Edition in my directory. Can anyone offer up some advice?
