Squawky comes alive

Quetzlsacatanango did a very popular mod that added a static crow to your shoulder, called Squawky the Crow. And I'd like to expand on this idea for the ghost warriors mod and as a stand along companion mod.

Early alpha of Squawky comes alive. Quetzlsacatanango's gave me permission to continue Squawky's domination of the wasteland, based upon his mod Squawky the Crow. Which essentially adds a static crow to your shoulder. Eventually I'd like to make Squawky an animated nif when he's on your shoulder and a full crow when he flies off your shoulder. But until I learn how to do that in blender I'm using a real raven and a script that setpos to the players (with an offset). It's essentially hte opposite of Illyisms Rideable Creatures script (in communist russia, crow rides you).

I plan to involve him as a more full featured companion that flys from your shoulder to wander about or attack enemies (by distracting them) and some basic commands/dialog. Maybe a little perk like +1 perception.....crows and ravens tend to be pretty bright and aware. I hope to have him as an important plot device/companion in my Ghost Warriors mod.

I have several ideas, but am curious what other people would like him to be able to do. I'd like to stay away from the outlandish, he's not a weapon platform just a crow. I don't see him dropping mini nukes on your foes, but I suppose it's possible he could take a c-4 package into a enemy camp or something.

I don't know how functional the script will be or how long it will take, as I'v only implemented the barest essentials. I need to include setangle, different offsets for when the player is running, crouching etc. And probably a million other things. But I'm hopeful it will be a solution that brings Squawky to life. Here he is eating my hat;
