mechanical_man Posted April 7, 2004 Share Posted April 7, 2004 When trying to install the game for the first time, about 2 seconds after I click the installation accept button when it auotruns, I get an error that looks like this....(I'm not going to include the entire file path) ...\LOCALS~1\Temp\{C325F588-D6B1-4A7F-B6A2-914C75DDA348}\setup.inx' could not be installed Data error (cyclic redundancy check). I've never seen this type of error before and have no clue as to how to go about correcting this. Any experience or insight into this problem would be extremely appreciated. Thanks in advance. mechanical_man Posted April 7, 2004 Author Share Posted April 7, 2004 I did some looking around after I posted, and found out that there seems to be a problem with the installation process and CD-Rw drives (which I was using) so I popped it in the dvd drive and it worked fine.
