shiner421
Hello folks, first time posting here. I know this is a very difficult question to answer without a ton of information, so I'll start with the basics. Rig specs: Core I7 - 3770k @ 3.4 GHZ G skill Ripjaw 8gb x 4 32 GB ram @ 1600 MhzGigabyte Z77x-ud5h / Corsair SSD 120 GB 2 x 1TB 7200 RPM Yes, I have a ton of mods, and I never tried the Enb stuff until after all these mods were installed. I try to use NMM for all my mods. I had realistic lighting with customization installed, so I de-activated that in NMM, then closed it and ran Skyrim. I immediately exited, and then installed Enb 113 and chose wrapper version. Then I installed shparshooter's enb using NMM, and ran Skyrim. It insta CTD, no error message. I then de-activated sharpshooters, and installed the injector version. I then re-activated Sharpshooters, and ran Skyrim, and it crashed saying it encountered an error. I think my next step is create a save, delete all ENB stuff out of skyrim base directory, de-activate all mods in NMM, and then install only enb and sharpshooters, see if it works. Should I be using Enb 113 or 117? Ill check back with my findings, thanks! Lol, I create seperate save, disable ALL plugins except for skyrim.esm, update.esm, and dawnguard.esm, and I can start the game and get to main menu, but if I try to load my game it insta CTD with no mods. shiner421
It's obviously a mod issue, after playing around, and re-enabling all my mods, it seems to work now. Guess when modding its a matter of just playing around sometimes hehe. I went in to the enbseries.ini and turned on SSAO and DOF, however, the DOF effect I get is not at all noticeable. I wonder what I am doing wrong here as on the screenshots for sharpshooters enb they have a lot of DOF effect. Staind716
The problem is that you are trying to install ENB with NMM. You can't use any mod manager to install ENB correctly. It has to be a manual install. :)

I have a feeling though that the plugin in NMM that shows up as active isnt really actually active, and my manual install is taking precedence. Thank you for your reply!
