Koopie1
I apologize in advance for the length of this message. Thanks for reading and for any help you can give me. I just purchased Oblivion, and just joined this forum. When looking on-line for game info, I was amazed at the number of mods available. It became a bit overwhelming trying to read, understand and download what I wanted. I'm looking for a true RPG experience. I want to use attributes and skills my character (most likely stealth based) actually needs, not do any sort of "power level-ups" or choosing major skills I won't use to counter act the game's reverse leveling system. Of course, I will also use a few "eye-candy" mods, but I am more interested in the actual game play, not appearance. What am I looking for? What do I need? Any suggestions are appreciated. I would also appreciate finding out what mods are compatible. I think I understand the install process, but haven't done it yet. Again, thanks for your time, and thanks to all of you who spent so much effort on your modding creations. Happy Gaming!
Ethre
Are you looking for something like AF Leveling perhaps? This will stop you from having to worry about your skills so much - because its all automatic. For RPG, you'll also probably want something like Choices and Consequences, Enhanced Quest Roleplaying, and likely also Random Oblivion (warning, this can, depending on your other settings, make your game VERY difficult at first). Also, Living Economy and Attack and Hide
f00m0nch00
You may want to take a look at Deadly Reflexes, to improve the crummy Vanilla fightinghttp://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8273Though i've heard it has quite a few bugs, in which case you could try Locational Damagehttp://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=11732And if you want things to be tougher without a major overhaul you might want Adrenaline Oblivion, though i cant seem to find the link. PM and maybe i can mail it to you. As for eyecandy you can try out with unique landscapeshttp://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=19370
