LE Magical Equipment

Basically, i love the mage character, but dont really like blasting people with flames unless they themselves are a mage

 

so.

 

wouldnt it be awesome if there were a series of spells out there that were 'bound' or 'magical' or whatever equipment. like in oblivion

 

HOWEVER.

 

this equipment is a whole set!

 

so i imagine that this is how it works

 

 

im walking along as as mage in my generic mage outfit. when i come across an axe wielding maniac

 

so i use (insert spell name here) it takes a few seconds to cast. but it equips me from head to toe in a 'bound set of armour and weapons, with added bonus's like increased speed or attack with reduced defense and magic def etc.

 

so now i have this spell active. it lasts for x amount of time. or burns a constant amount of Mana. when it runs out i go back to my mage outfit.

 

different spells could belong to different schools with different strengths and weaknesses. you learn the spell. they cost a shitload. but basically you can become a battle mage who can go from equipset to equipset depending on the situation. need a quick escape, then cast your eagle armour. and you get a massive speed boost, but almost no armour defence. or more simpler ones. or even more risky ones. one hit one kill armours, where any wound will kill you, but any attack kills them.
