ihateregisteringeverywhere
You know, calling a sword that kills things based on what you believe is true the sword of truth is realy loopsided if you ask me. The sword of prejudice might be a better name. Or the sword of fanatical apogelegic murders. Yes, that sounds nice.
trebor_armbreaker
no comment on that one....... it's from a book so im using it for it
Sharkull
But "Truth" is relative to perspective... the sword simply doesn't allow the user to lie to himself/herself when attacking someone / something. It will do no harm unless the wielder believes it is justified. It has nothing to do with prejudice, just plain old judgement of an individual (which can obviously be flawed). "Evil" judgements are chaotic. "Good" judgements are fair and just. But, the definitions of "good" and "evil" are subjective. The sword is simply a tool... hopefully entrusted only to Seekers with rational values. To explain any more would get into major spoiler territory. There is *much* more to the story / themes than just the sword.

ihateregisteringeverywhere
Nope, truth is absolute. Wether you're sure or not if you're considering something that isn't true true - then and just then you're lying to yourself. Or just ignorant of the facts. Same difference though - truth indeed is the only absolute. Enough of phylosophy though, I personaly think that I would indeed enjoy a sword that would have higher damage against "evil" individuals like most monsters, bandits, necromants etc.
